Hi! I’m thepaperpilot, and have been following along with some ideas like the agentic fediverse and SX, and I’ve been thinking about this concept I’m calling digital locality (or perhaps a “locality network”) where one’s social interactions stay more local and in theory build up more meaningful relationships. It would also help diminish the impact influencers and advertisers have on the network, and prevent posts from “blowing up” and bringing large amounts of negative attention to the original creator.

(Without much time I just drop a note: This place is not just a normal forum, and importantly NOT a community. This is a “movement” a concept. And also an experiment “how do movements concert and focus power”, and in our case specifically for crafting social experiences. The growth model is “foster spontaneous emergence” i.e. by natural forces of attraction and cohesion. You bring in a concept “Digital Locality” and this here can be your test lab to shape that to completion, using more and more tools as they are added by social coders.)
